Recently we have had a lot of questions regarding upgrading to Windows 10. For a while, Microsoft was simply pushing a notification prompt that gave you the option to upgrade now or wait. Microsoft is getting more aggressive in forcing users to upgrade. Windows 10 now comes disguised as an everyday Windows update. This update will install automatically now unless you decline through several screens.
Our advice is DO NOT BE AFRAID OF WINDOWS 10. If your computer has already updated, there is nothing to worry about. Most major dental software will run on the Windows 10 platform, even if not officially supported. If your computer has not upgraded there is no need to force the upgrade. There is no harm in remaining on Windows 7.
